Jalang’o’s Workers in Hiding After Stealing Money From His Car

Felix Odiwuor, commonly known as Jalang’o, a Lang’ata parliamentary hopeful, is giving Sh100,000 to anyone who will provide information leading to the arrest of his famous groundsmen; Eli Omundu and Morrison Litiema.

The two, the former Kiss FM presenter said, took money from a car they were washing at his home.

In a Facebook post that has since gone viral, Jalas said the suspects have gone into hiding and have turned off their phones.

Eli and Litiema, the funnyman added, have run off with their families.

“Eli and Litiema are on the run, this morning they stole money from the car they were washing at home, their phones are off and they are running with their families. If you see them please report at the nearest police station A reward of 100k for any information leading to their arrest,” Jalango said in a post.

The duo landed jobs with Jalang’o back in 2018 when he (Jalang’o) was hosting the breakfast show on Milele FM alongside Alex Mwakideu.

The duo were Jalang’o’s super fans.

“What surprised us the most on the first day was the food that we were given. At lunchtime, we were given ugali and some liver. It was a good feeling bearing in mind that we had been working at a place where we would be given boiled githeri on a daily,” Litiema told Bonga na Jalas in 2021.

They also described Jalang’o’s wife, Amina Chao, as a gracious person.

“She has been very supportive and is always willing to help in case I or Eli have a problem,” he added.

Litiema previously worked as a cook while Eli was a caretaker in Kikuyu.

Mwakideu voiced his disappointment in the duo he claimed to have helped gain employment.

The Milele FM host further urged anyone with information that could lead to the offenders’ arrest to contact their local police station.

“Elly and Litiema… Niliwasaidia kupata job kwa kakangu Jalas… And you were doing so well… It’s so sad to learn that you have stolen money from a man who treated you so well. I am a disappointed man. Pole sana @jalangoo … Please help us find these two… and report them to the nearest police station when you hear a thing about them,” said Mwakideu.
