Vandals have destroyed property belonging to Raila Odinga-linked East Africa Spectre Limited along Mombasa Road.
The goons who were caught on tape, shattered office windows belonging to Yvonne Odinga – the wife of Raila Junior. Ida Odinga’s office windows were also broken.
Speaking to reporters, Security and Safety Manager Humphrey Waswa said the hired guns arrived in motor cycles, pelted stones for like 30 minutes then ran away after the police arrived.
Mr Waswa, however, noted that the goons received money from unidentified people after performing the act.
“There were people in three cars in land cruiser V8 who started surrounding this place in the morning. Some (of the cars) had number plates and others did not have number plates. They patrolled until 9am. At around 10am, I saw people in motor bikes approaching the company. We thought maybe they were coming to see Mzee (Raila) but we saw them with stones which they used to break windows,” he said.
“Mama (Ida) was not in. Fortunately, today she did not come in and neither did Madam Yvonne.”
The attack came hours after another group raided retired President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Northlands Farm in Ruiru.
The thugs invaded the expansive farm and made away with livestock. They also set a section of the farm on fire and cut down trees.
Raila condemned the acts while addressing supporters in Kibra.
