According to Citizen Digital, the cop sustained serious injuries after a heated exchange with a gardener.

The incident is said to have occurred in the wee hours of Thursday morning.

The suspect has since been arrested pending arraignment.

This comes a day after a comedian, Ian Asunya alias Nduru Man claimed to have been arrested at the DP’s residence.

The internet sensation who has made a name for himself by screaming in public, told a local news outlet that he was delivering goods around the leafy suburbs when he thought it would be good idea to shout outside the DP’s home.

In a video that has since gone viral, the comedian calls out the DP’s name and requests for a loan to launch a sweet potato sales business.

The on-site security detail quickly pounces on him and later grill him.

“I had made a delivery around Karen when I asked about the DP’s residence from a resident who directed me to the premises. Upon arrival at the gate, I decided to record the video and address Ruto,” he said.

“The AP police officers manning the gate rushed to apprehend me and also confiscate my passport.”

The comedian was taken to Karen police station at 12.30 pm and was asked to part with a cash bail of Ksh10,000.

He chose to stay put and was released later that day.

“I kept wailing inside the cell for the police to get me out but my plea fell on deaf ears. Hours later, they gave me an opportunity to make a phone call but the call did not go through,” he continued.

“I was informed to report to the station on Monday in order to pick up my passport.”
