Mathare North MCA-elect Eko Dydda Missing

Mathare North MCA-elect Eko Dydda is missing, his wife Cynthia Ayugi claims.

According to Ms Ayugi, the singer turned politician was allegedly abducted by goons connected to his opponents after he was declared the winner.

She has also alleged that attempts to report her husband’s abduction have been fruitless because of police frustrations.

“We were told he had won and we were told to go pick up his certificate,” she told Mpasho.

She added: “While at the venue there were some young men who were seated behind him (Eko Dydda).”

The goons, she said, told them that they had been sent to execute the newly elected ward representative.

“They told him they had to ‘finish him’,” she said.

“The certificate was given very quickly nobody saw what was on it. After that the ‘boys’ surrounded him and his security guy.”

Ms Ayugi also stated that the goons also attacked a man who was filming the ordeal.

“There was a guy who was taking videos from the start and when the goons noticed that they beat him up and took the phone.

“When they noticed they were attracting attention they let him go (video guy).”

They reported the matter at Ruaraka Police Station but we’re chased away.

“We went to report at Ruaraka Police station but we were chased away. We last talked with my husband at 1:30 A.M,” she continued.

The mother of two claims she visited the Kariobangi and Buruburu police stations but was turned away since the incident took place in Ruaraka.
