Jubilee Party MPs and Senators who met President William Ruto and DP Rigathi Gachagua on Wednesday say “they are back home”.
A majority of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) members once belonged to Jubilee which is now led by retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Dr Ruto, Gachagua and others left the former ruling party before the August 2022 elections citing mistreatment by the former regime.
But really, the fall-out began when Uhuru shook hands with opposition leader Raila Odinga on March 9, 2018.
