Presidential Hopeful Reuben Kigame Claims Life in Danger After Receiving Audio Threat

Reuben Kigame, a presidential candidate, has alleged that his life is in danger.

He was taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation headquarters in Nairobi, where he informed officers that he had been threatened through audio.

He shared the recording with the cops, who claimed they were looking into it as well.

Later, Kigame tweeted from his office, where he made known his mission.

“At the DCI Headquarters to report an audio threat to my candidacy,” he said.

The officers in charge of the investigation vowed to take action. There are plans to provide armed officers to Kigame.

The police, on the other hand, have stated that they will wait until he has been cleared as a candidate for the seat. In most cases, police security is provided to all candidates.

Kigame met with John Gachomo, the head of the inquiry, who handed him over to the serious crimes team, which is investigating the allegations.
