Foreign Affairs CAS Ababu Namwamba Resigns, To Serve in DP Ruto’s Presidential Campaign Secretariat

Ababu Namwamba, the Foreign Affairs Chief Administrative Secretary, has resigned.

Ababu thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta and praised the personnel in charge of the ministry’s affairs.

“I thank the president for the appointment, but it is time to vacate the seat,” he said, adding, “We have accomplished so much and during this four-year period, we have had an amazing time.”

The former Budalangi Member of Parliament will begin his new job as Deputy President William Ruto’s envoy for international relations.

Ruto said in a statement on Wednesday that the team values his leadership, legal, and political skills.
