CS Mucheru in Twitter Spat with Miguna Over Presidential Election Petition

ICT CS Joe Mucheru has taken a swipe at lawyers Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Miguna Miguna over their persistent attacks on social media.

Miguna alleged that Mucheru is in charge of altering Forms 34A in the IEBC portal to elevate ODM leader Raila Odinga above President-Elect William Ruto.

Furthermore, according to Miguna, the allegedly inflated numbers on Forms 34A are intended to support Raila’s presidential petition.

Mucheru asked the lawyers to practice their craft and refrain from criticizing him.

“I think lawyers Miguna Miguna and Ahmednasir should stick to their profession. Always Mucheru this Mucheru that, don’t you have your own lawyers to deal with? It’s your big day at the Supreme Court tomorrow, FOCUS! or are you going to be spectators like me?” tweeted the minister.

The minister was responding to claims that he had hired a Chinese hacker and an IEBC IT officer to forge Forms 34A.

“Azimio has used a kidnapped
@IEBCKenya IT expert and Chinese ICT hackers hired by @mucheru to erase form 34As and insert their own fake form 34As with inflated figures for RAO so that the Supreme Court can declare RAO president-elect,” tweeted the exiled lawyer.

Miguna further asserted that CS Mucheru is also using the Communications Authority boss Ezra Chiloba, the National Intelligence Service and DCI sleuths to “subvert the will of the people”.

Miguna, a former aide of Raila, warned that he will continue exposing Mucheru because he is a public servant.

“Mr @mucheru: You hold public office which you abuse and use to subvert the Constitution. Kenyan tax-payers pay you to uphold the Constitution. I’m committed to exposing, fighting and defeating merchants of impunity like you – unapologetically. Go tell despot Uhuru Kenyatta that,” continued Miguna.

Raila is set to file his petition on Monday at the Supreme Court.

On Sunday, the former prime minister said his team has watertight evidence that will see Ruto’s win nullified.
