Gideon Moi At Azimio la Umoja Convention as OKA Co-principals Skip Event

Kanu party leader Gideon Moi is at the Azimio la Umoja convention that is currently being held at the Kasarani Sports Stadium.

Moi is the only of the four One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals in attendance.

The Baringo senator was accompanied by Kanu secretary general Nick Salat and Tiaty MP William Kamket.

On Thursday, co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula said they would not attend the convention during which ODM leader Raila Odinga is expected to announce his presidential bid.

Mudavadi said he would skip the event over personal engagements but confirmed that he had indeed received an invitation to the same.

“I will not be able to attend because of my personal engagements. Raila Odinga is a worthy competitor, I wish him well because tomorrow will clearly be his day in the sun,” Mudavadi said.

The fourth OKA principal, Kalonzo Musyoka is apparently away on official business in Juba, South Sudan.

“He is not around, so he won’t attend. That is confirmed,” Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr said.
