Kenyattas Have Sent Emissaries to Demand They Be Left Alone – CS Duale

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family, according to Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, allegedly sent emissaries to demand that they be left alone.

Speaking on Spice FM on Friday, Duale asserted that no one could meet the former first family’s demands as long as ordinary Kenyans had to deal with corruption, instability, and poverty.

“Why is the Kenyatta family involved in causing this instability? They are the richest family not in Kenya, in Africa. They have sent emissaries that the former president Kenyatta and his family shall be left alone,” he said.

“Nobody can guarantee them that. That guarantee given to them should also be given to ordinary citizens like you and me.”

He continued by claiming that the recent turmoil was aimed to strengthen ties between the previous administration and Ruto’s administration in order to hide their crimes committed during the four years following their handshake.

“That’s why the president is very consistent the whole shenanigans, what is going on, is to have handshake bring Raila Odinga into government so that he can hold brief and do bidding for the Kenyatta family on the crimes that has been committed against the people of Kenya during their last five or four years of their administration,” he said.

He further stated that the public, Parliament, and independent organizations like the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), and the police will reveal any audit irregularities pertaining to the Kenyatta administration.

Moreover, Duale encouraged President William Ruto to enforce the law, safeguard citizens’ rights, and prosecute those responsible for any unrest.

He stressed the significance of ensuring that all Kenyans benefit from democracy and receive equal treatment under the law.

Duale’s comments come as the Azimio la Umoja alliance is protesting the expense of living and other election-related issues, including the invasion of Kenyatta family property in Ruiru.
