Lilian Nganga Drags Governor Mutua to Court Over Property

Former Machakos first lady Lilian Nganga has dragged her ex-lover and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua to court over property.

In two suits filed at the Milimani Commercial Court, Lilian has accused the county boss of illegally repossessing her vehicle and taking over her company.

She has claimed that Mutua forcibly repossessed the vehicle by accessing her Kileleshwa home. She allegedly bought the vehicle in 2014.

The car which was apparently in her name was taken away on September 8.

Apart from illegally taking her possessions, Lilian has claimed that Mutua has threatened her life and that of those close to her.

Lilian who is currently in a romantic relationship with singer Julius Owino, alias Juliani, wants a restraining order effected against Mutua.

“What I want is for the court to permanently stop him and his servants from coming close to me, accessing my home, visiting my workplace or seizing any of my property,” said Lilian.

She added, “I am apprehensive that he can break into my home. He is capable of doing anything using unorthodox means. He has already threatened to forcefully seize my properties.”

Through lawyer Gachie Omwanza, Lilian has alleged that the presidential hopeful transferred her shares of their joint company without her consent soon after they ended their relationship.

The former lovers were listed as directors until July 2021 when she discovered that her 2000 shares had been transferred to a third party.

The third party had 2,600 shares, more than she and Mutua owned.

On September 17, Nairobi Principal Magistrate E Wanjala issued an order restraining Mutua from selling, disposing of or changing the vehicle’s ownership pending determination of the suit.

Lilian wants Mutua to take her vehicle to Kilimani Police Station as she does not want him at her residence.
